It's funny how Titans fans get about certain players. I remember being excited that we drafted Lavelle Hawkins to help fix the hole at WR that I knew existed before that draft started.

Not many would be happy to fill a team void with a 4th rounder.

Never the less, Hawkins fulfilled his duty as a 4th rounder. He did jack s**t for 2 years, put up a 47 catch season for a couple hundred and maybe 3-4 career TD. Not sure what the avg #'s are for 4th round WR, but I have to imagine that's pretty close or maybe even above.
    What a bum.

EDIT: I was sorely mistaken. He only had 1 career TD.

There is hope...because Corey Davis made some catches last year, that we may have legit never seen before in this franchise. If he stays healthy and learns this system, he could be nasty. He has that it factor.

Thought I'd add this for some more misery.
Top 10 Titans (not franchise) WR by yardage

    10. Kevin Dyson 2310 and 18 TD
    9. Bo Scaife 2383 12 TD
    8. Kenny Britt 2450 19 TD
    7. Kendall Wright 3244 18 TD
    6. Chris Sanders 3285 17 TD (3 years Titans, 4 years Oiler)
    5. Drew Bennett 4033 25 TD
    4. Delanie Walker 4156 26 TD
    3. Nate Washington 4591 28 TD
    2. Frank Wycheck 4958 37 TD
    1. Derrick Mason 6114 37 TD

I don't think non-Titans fans even know who half the list is and our 11th best WR is a RB in EG.

Raiders have had Randy Moss, Tim Brown ,Jerry Rice. Hell, even Jerry Porter makes Titans WR's look bad..

Does anyone remember Tajae's rookie year he said he wanted to come in and CONTINUE the great history of Titans WR's..?

Voted 2002 obviously but that's only because 2018 hasn't happened yet. This could definitely be the year we turn it around.

Also think about the post Mcnair QB play. That's gotta factor in a bit.
