MCU (Spoilers)

Man when you put it like that it really hammers home just how far apart the two companies are in the film department. And it pains me as a massive Batman fanboy.

 

Yeah that's my opinion as well. I get Disney is trying to capitalize financially after paying a king's ransom for Lucasfilm. But Star Wars should be a rare spectacle. Not something that is churned out each and every year. I still haven't even seen Rogue One but I was not at all impressed with Force Awakens or Last Jedi. And absolutely zero interest in Solo.

 

At the very least we don't need a Star Wars film set in the OT/NT era every year.

 

Rogue One was pretty solid but we all know how it ends and it is hard to get attached to any of the characters when you know how it ends.

 

Nolan ruined all future Batman movies.

 

Fans didn’t get attached to the characters, not because we knew their fate before the movie, but because none of them were interesting. If done right, knowing ahead of time that all the heroes die, has its advantages too.
