    POTENTIAL SPOILER
I loved the movie, but we know the highlighted parts are CHEAP. We know for a fact that most of the characters that are "absent" are going to come right back as soon as they get the gauntlet off of him.

MCU was already known for cheaply bringing back characters from the dead, Part 2 is going to be the ultimate McGuffin.

Nobody in their right mind believed for a second that Spider Man, BP, Star Lord, Dr. Strange will possibly remain dead, when we know they have future moneymaking potential.

They should have just killed Heimdall, Loki, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Gamora, maybe a couple others, and left it at that. Getting rid of the whole future cast just gave the ending a cheaper feeling to me. No sense of permanence to these deaths.

But they need to find a way to use the time gem to get Yondu back alive. Yondu, sweet Yondu.

BTW I grew up a bigger Star Wars fan than Marvel.. But the MCU Is SO much better than the Star wars drivel they have come out with.

I had no interest in Ant Man and GotG before they came out, and they are probably my 2 favorite solo movies of the whole MCU.

Star Wars has so much going for them, and still, they can't put together a great movie.. I think Rogue One is the closest thing to a great movie they've come out with.

We're 2 movies into the new trilogy, and IDGAF about Rey, Poe, Finn, etc. The only one mildly interesting is Kylo. They're lame characters with lame stories.

Shlt, Thor Ragnarok was a mediocre Marvel film, and it was more entertaining than any SW film since the end of the original trilogy.

This Han Solo film looks like a steaming pile.

But why would there need to be any permanent deaths at all? Time stone with Dr. Strange can reverse literally anything, unless they get destroyed somehow (probably going to happen)

I agree with your original post, that they did a GREAT job of juggling all those characters. Age of Ultron was a clusterf, jumbled garbage pile of a movie..

But in this movie, they split the cast up into the different places, worked out great.
Got the GOTG parts, the Wakanda parts, out in space parts.. They did it right, this time. Not one gigantic fight scene where every marvel character is fighting all at once, like AoU.

The Force Awakens is the best recent Star Wars film, even with the criticism of it being a revamped New Hope. The Last Jedi kind of ruins it by not answering/ignoring/retconning all the good/mysterious stuff.

Htf do they hype up Rey's parents only for it to be nothing. Htf do we not know who/what/how the First Order came to be? Wtf was Snoke? Ignore that we built him up only to cheap death him? Phasma came across a badass, cheaply dealt with twice. Why did Finn join the First Order?

I thought Rogue One was better than the other two that came out. Solo looks awful.

We don't need a Star Wars movie every year in my opinion.

Comic were always soaps at heart. They constantly came out month after month and would have huge tie in events.

That's exactly what the MCU is doing and it is fantastic. They are movies but they are also pieces of a larger narrative and that is wise business and fun for the viewer.

Like Infinity War was coming out and even if you missed Black Panther and say Guardians 2 you saw those characters were in IW so tons of people went back and watched those too so they could get the entire story.

Like even if you don't care for Antman many people will go see it because IW ended on a cliff hanger and it's the next story in this mass overlapping narrative. Nobody wants to miss one of the puzzle pieces.

The after credit stingers are genius too. At the end of IW we see Further drop a device with Captain Marvel's emblem on it so now when that movie drops a few million people who have no idea who that character is will show up to see the continuation of the larger narative.

    It is really genius.

Like Antman, a C level character, is about to crush anything DC had done at the box office.

Yea I am thinking A4 does away with the stones are there is a catch to where some people can't come back, maybe they have to sacrifice themselves to bring back others.

Maybe Tony gives himself to the soulstone to bring back Peter and Cap to bring back Bucky.

Whatever they come up with will kill it. They ain't missing.

Antman trailer dropped today and looks dope af.

Marvel has made billions off Antman and a talking Raccoon and tree while DC can't get Batman in his own movie to save face.
