Predict the final 53 as of today

    Players will get hurt, traded, cut etc. and will definitely change, but as of today, what is your final 53?

    QB: Mariota, Gabbert, Faulk
    RB: Henry, Lewis, Wadley
    WR: Davis, Matthews, Taylor, Sharpe, Campanaro, Burnett
    TE: Walker, Smith, Stocker, Supernaw
    T: Lewan, Conklin, Kelly
    G: Kline, Spain, Pamphile, Su'a Filo
    C: Jones, Levin

    DT: Casey, Logan, A. Woods
    DE: Jones, A. Johnson, King
    ILB: Woodyard, Evans, Compton, Brown, Bates
    OLB: Morgan, Orakpo, Landry, Dodd, Wallace
    CB: Butler, Ryan, Jackson, Sims
    S: Byard, Cyprien, Cruikshank, Trawick, Webb

    LS: Brinkley
    K: Succop
    P: Kern

    My last spot was between Wallace, Webb and Tye Smith. I liked Wallace versatility to play both inside and outside and with Dodd maybe getting cut, I wanted to keep a possible 4th OLB. I also liked the potential with Webb. Could become a solid number 3 or 4 S depending on Cyprien being cut after this year and Trawick not really playing defense. I felt that was more important than a 5th cornerback. Something Cruikshank can play if needed.

    Gotta keep more than 4 CBs. No way we keep 3 QBs, 5 safeties, and 4 corners.

    I suspect with Conklin out 6-8 weeks we are forced to carry a 4th Tackle on the roster.

    That's why I said Cruickshank is the 5th CB and 4th S. That's why they drafted him. He can do both which opens up another roster spot.

    Pamphile can play tackle as well. Has played it in the past. Another versatile guy.

    Maybe he can. Maybe he can’t. I’d rather have a true CB and not keep 5 safeties and 3 QBs either way.

    Put Falk on the practice squad.

    I also think 3 RBs is too thin at a collision position.
