JROB did this draft with QUALITY over Quantity in mind. Drafted like someone who thinks he is adding pieces to an already SOLID Championship level team. IN jROB I TRUST.

Gotta give it an A. Absolute quality playmakers with huge upside over late round quantity.

I love that the mock drafters were about 50/50 on whether we'd take Evans or Landry in the first, and we got BOTH!

Also love the Cruikshank pick. Dude is a physical specimen with speed and size that put him in the upper percentiles at the combine. A little raw having started at Juco before transferring to Arizona, he has all the physical gifts to develop into a special player. I saw an analytics breakdown that showed his production and athleticism numbers exceeded the pre-draft average of NFL All-Pros at the position. Also saw mocks that had him going in the 3rd round.

Also love that we grabbed Luke Falk. Belichick must have been fuming!

A-. I like Evans and Landry a lot, but honestly they are gambles. Evans was surrounded by slews of talent (take a look at a bunch of Bama's first rounders in the last 6 or 7 years and look at where they are today) and Landry's 2016 season is a huge outlier compared to his Sophomore and Senior year which scares me to death.

Very happy with the draft....i like that JRob has a plan and is able to execute it. Edmunds comes off the board at 16, VanderEsch at 19, JRob knows the odds of Evans now making it to 25 are very slim....jump up in front of Pats and get our guy....2nd rnd JRob sees chance to get a falling player and jumps in front of Pats again....

I give JRob a big A+ for this off-season because of how he impacted the Pats....we steal Lewis and Butler from them in FA which then forces them to spend draft capital to fill their spots....Michel in the 1st and Dawson in the 2nd. Then trading up in front of them not once, but twice was just fantastic....kudos Jrob

How can 2 guys projected to be late first/second rounders be gambles when we got them in rounds 1 & 2?
Mocks had us getting one or the other at 25...we got both

Your'e right, and I love the picks. I'm just saying there are question marks in some areas that both of them have, but none are to serious to worry about too much. Evans with only starting for one year (which I like even more, more fresh) and Landry who had an outlier of a season in 2016. Either way, they are automatically better than Dodd, Wallace, and probably Morgan (due to age)

I love that JRob, went and got the players he wanted. Like said in earlier post quality over quantity. Plus seems like the Patriot way is becoming the Titan way.
    I like all the picks.

"A" for quality but only 4 picks is concerning. Would rather not have traded up in round 5. Also, with how the OL played last year and the likelihood that 2 of Spain, Kline, and Jones won't be around after this year, we should have picked a G or C in the draft, imo.

I think we made up for some of the lost picks in UDFA with some of guys with 4th and 5th round grades. In terms of C and Guard, I bet Free Agency fills that need next year as well if need be. Let’s hope the new blocking scheme helps out and the line is more like the 2016 version.
