I know you hate he’s a Bama guy, but he is the best player we could have taken at that spot.

 

The Bama thing is ridiculous and lazy.

Let’s just pretend that the school that year in and year out recruits the most talented athletes in the country doesn’t exist because, dur, Bama bust.

Plenty of the Bama linebackers have panned out well.

Yeah, they are always playing with elite talent around them, so you have to be more careful scouting them. But to ignore Bama, Ohio state, etc would be real dumb.

The profiles i read say he has good use of hands and sheds blockers well. He most definitely has the tools.

The highlight clips also show one hell of a motor. A lot of times he is cleaning up sacks or tackles one of his teammates already missed.

The weakness I hear is hands. He ain’t gonna pick many off it seems. That’s ok though. Just don’t let the TE catch it, an knock rb’s and qb’s into the dirt.

 

Ive seen limited footage, but looks like he lines up his man and hits hard.
