I agree on the high IQ part and good hands, he'll just need a good DC who can craft up stunts for him cause hes awfully slow off the ball.

I’d say Evans should be in the group with players we’ve met with. Robinson and Vrabel were both at the Bama pro day and we saw Vrabel on the field running drills. I’m sure they met with Evans

 

yes, but its not a 30 visit... that's the issue at hand..... 3/3 1st rounders under jrob... had 30 visits.

Well a lot of mocks have him going in our range so that’s a little fishy?

Just because they haven’t met with him - if he’s there @25 ‘we should expect’ them not to draft him?? I don’t buy that concept.

 

I wasn't asking to be sarcastic, I haven't watched any film on him so I'm taking your word that he's more of a 4-3 DE and probably shouldn't play OLB. I was only asking to see if your concern is with value or fit.

Personally I'd rather trade back and pick up a guy like Darius Leonard (even though he's not a pass rusher) to help with the LB's. And then maybe take a risk on Key if he's there in the 3rd.

 

@Broken Arrow brought up a great point regarding Hubbard, hes playing outside his natural weight at OSU, which would explain why he looks sluggish.

If he comes here he would likely cut 10-15lbs the same way Derrick Morgan did when he went from a DE to OLB. A 255lb Sam Hubbard might be something to be excited about.
