    111F93E0-90EE-4981-B081-D3F38D13C853.jpeg WalterFootball.com: 2018 NFL Mock Draft

Well according to Charlie over @ walterfootball.com he apparently has a very reliable Titan source ...

“In speaking to a reliable source, they believe the Titans are targeting outside linebacker, inside linebacker, and defensive line - in that order - for this pick. They felt that Rashaan Evans, Harold Landry, and Sam Hubbard could be the finalists for this pick. This source told me to lock in Marcus Mariota many months before the 2015 NFL Draft. They told me the organization loved Jack Conklin in 2016, and last year, they said to mock a receiver at No. 5 and Adoree' Jackson at No. 18.

Therefore, I'm going to listen to this source even though some other teams have told me they have Hubbard and Landry graded as second-rounders.”

So if it comes down to one of those 3:

Hubbard - the underachiever considering his size

Landry - the undersized rusher who could get swallowed up by bigger defenders

    Or

Evans - the injury concerns the past 2 seasons

    Make your pick?!

I still feel most comfortable with Evans

But if I had to guess , which is what we all do during this time, he would be #3 on the Titans board from the list above ^

A lot of people have us going with Evans the last couple of days.

    Evans, Vander Esche, or Landry.

I'm willing to bet if we stay at 25 it'll be for one of these 3.

It seems Vander Esche is rising as we get closer to the draft doesn’t it though? I think out of the 3 you named VE has the least chance of being there @25 - but that be great if so

You might be right, but I wouldn't be surprised either. He is the least game ready out of the 3. It'd be really great if Roquon or Davenport fell.

I have a feeling we want Evans or LVE and if they are gone, we're gonna try to trade back. There's so many good options for pass rushers in the 2nd round.

Unlike the last handful of years when the Titans were picking in the first half or higher, these guys have to actually be available to select them. There is a possibility that they're all gone by the time 25 rolls around.

And Walter didn't exactly pull these names out of a hat. They've all been mocked to the Titans pretty consistently.

I dont see us keeping it at all. JRob is very active in trades at the draft and dont think he will do something different and keep the picks. If they think Landry and Hubbard are 2nd rounders I guarantee they are targeting them in the 2nd.

Kind of a out of the box pick but what do you all think of Hayden Hurst TE?

Walker will want one more big contract after this year

Our weapons for MM are above average but nothing spectacular

Still waiting to see if Davis can be the legit #1, Matthews still around and then Taylor - ok meh

But adding a playmaking TE to groom under Walker would be interesting (WR seems thin in this year draft). I know Jonnu Smith is around but Hurst would be an automatic upgrade over Smith.

Lance Zierlein: South Carolina tight end Hayden Hurst is the best fit for the Tennessee Titans at No. 25 overall

Let's just hope that these ******* teams in front of us actually do scoop up all 5 of these overrated QBs lol... In this scenario, we're almost certainly gonna get a game changer at 25.

I still find it hilarious that these 5 QBs are getting so much hype. Am I the only one who doesn't get it?

The Titans only met privately with one of those three. In two drafts almost all of JRob's picks were guys they met with privately. The exceptions were late round picks.

Don't look at mock drafts, most of them don't know their butt from a hole in the ground. And most are probably just going by what they think the Titans should do.

Look at the list of private visits, it will be one of those.
