Titans will have New Uniforms in 2018

yeah, It doesn't matter much, really. We're 20+ years since the move from Houston, before you know it, Houston will matter to Titans fans about as much as Baltimore means to Colts fans. Except Indy kept the name, even.

I'm 32, and I remember bits and pieces of the Warren Moon era. People younger than me will have no recollection of the Oilers at all. And not to be disrespectful to the old Oilers guard.. but outside of the great players they had, Oilers don't really have any great accomplishments since they joined the NFL.

Kinda sad, but almost every piece tying the Titans to the Oilers is gone. I thought they might have wanted to emphasize the light blue in homage to the Oilers years. They opted out of that, the last few years, except for alternates.

 

How many times do we need to explain to you that it's going to be exactly what was leaked? The lighting will be different, so the color might look different, but that's going to be the design.

 

Thats probably just shoulder pads under the mesh.

You're right. It doesn't match. But I think that's entirely due to differences in lighting and fabric (for authentic jerseys vs. replicas).

I feel very confident saying the shoulders will be some shade of gray (maybe even two-tone, as the teaser sort of suggests).

The materials on the actual game-worn will make all the difference.

The replicas gon' be as ugly as pictured. Simple as that.

 

I really don't think the uniform leak is that bad. It's not what I thought it was gonna be but I'm on board. Only really bad thing about it is the "honoring the state in the number font" garbage.
