Titans to pick 25th in the first round of the '18 NFL Draft

Really want it to be defense. But I'll trust JR regardless of who he picks

 

After FA today if the 3 pass rushers are off the board I can see titans going SS. Love to see Derwin James fall in our laps.

 

Dream come true if he’s there at 25.

 

James, Ronnie Harrison, Rashaan Evans, or Roquan Smith would all make me very, very happy.

 

Honestly with the holes he filled yesterday, it really opens things up. I could see any play honestly, move up to get his guy, sit at 25 and take who falls/bpa, or move back and pick up a 2nd/3rd. I'd love for a top front 7 or SS guy to fall to 25 though, the defense could really use it.

 

Agreed and I wouldn't be mad getting a guy like Da'ron Payne if the other top safeties and Lbs are gone. Someone is going to fall on D. Just a matter of who.

I was listening to Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan yesterday talk about the DE draft. Kirwan said after Marcus Davenport there is a significant drop-off. "After that, you're going to have problems with the guys available in the second round. You might just want to wait until the 3rd or 4th to take a try-hard guy like Sam Hubbard."

 

Hubbard always gets labelled as a try hard guy, but he actually is very athletic...I was surprised by his combine numbers... 6.8 3 cone and 20yd short shuttle were faster than Clowney and his vertical jump of 35inches and solid broad jump at 116 show good core burst as well.

 

From what I read about Hubbard's combine, I thought many were expecting him to be gone by 25?

 

I would prefer ILB at 25 unless Vea or Derwin James falls (not likely) then hope for Josh Sweat to still be there in the 3rd round. That kid is freaky athletic and can develop as a rotational player for a year behind Orakpo and Morgan. But ILB is atop the needs list right now with Williamson walking in FA
