Downfall Of Espn

I agree there are annoying personalities, but bad personalities wouldn't be so much a problem if they stuck to the highlights.

Also, I'm ok with ESPN expanding from only highlights, just not on their anchor show.

 

ESPN was garbage awhile before Stu died. He was around before I think the turn to crap though.

 

Live sporting events makes sense and I like the documentaries as well. That's part of how I've come across a few good YouTube documentaries. The guys that do Chart Party, the worst, and a few others do really good research for simple 5-10 documentaries on things I wouldn't have bother looking up my own.

 

I hate going to the internet for highlights when it's unnecessary. Plus, with the amount of money and coverage that ESPN has, theye cover more highlights than most websites IF they didn't edit all of them down for the sake of talking heads.

 

They also started adding little bits and pieces of things that aren't sports to me, like WWE. I'd rather them actually show AFL and MMA highlights. Not the mainstream sports, but still sports.

 

I'd like to see another alternative sports network that goes back to the roots of what ESPN used to be. I'd say the same thing for other channels like MTV too.
