Hi guys, maybe you recognize me. I visit every offseason to see others opinions and predictions.

Analyzing the offseason, logically, I want to start with the Titans team needs. I’ve seen all sorts of opinions. Many I disagree with.

    Here’s mine prioritized:

    1. NT (I dont think this needs much explanation. I can’t remember a time when the Titans have had a dominant NT. I love the NT Vea as the Titans potential 1st rounder!)

1a. CB (I love Adoree but I think the Titans need a starting corner with speed who can defend the taller, stronger receivers consistently. Sadly, my opinion is there is no obvious prospect who fits this need in the draft.)

    3. G (If Kline leaves, his position could and should easily be upgraded. There are some solid interior lineman who should be available on day 2 of this years draft.)

    4. QB (Again, the position could and should be upgraded. Preferably with a successful old veteran or a talented young project.)

4a. ILB (The Titans could definitely use another every down linebacker similar to what Woodyard has become. I’m doubtful Jayon Brown is it. This need greatly intensifies if they lose Williamson, maybe to 1.b.)

    6. EDGE (I have this ranked much lower than most. The Titans still employ both of their starters and Khalil Mack may be available next season. If I were a GM, I’d pay him. He does play the anti-quarterback position very well.)

    7. S (The Titans could probably upgrade here. They currently employ 2 expensive average-above average players at SS so, even the same caliber, less expensive player is an upgrade.)

You probably noticed RB is not on my list. I haven’t given up on DeMarco like most have. He still does all the things those same people desire in the pass game and I’m hopeful Derrick Henry can step up in those areas as well. To be fair, I don’t think he’s shown he’s incapable.

    What do YOU think?

Swap qb and safety and you nailed it imo

Corner is way to high, and I disagree with G. I feel we could bring in someone more talented, but the consistency we miss by adding a new piece could hurt. Bring Kline back is reasonable.

Lineback, at both spots could be 1 imo.

I've been touting Vea since day one. He is compared tho Ngota but better. Ngota has been a breast for years with the Ravens, before being traded.

Sly is serviceable and Adoree is definitely our best CB, he's not the guy we need to draft a CB because of, that's on Sims.

SS is the weak link on defense, address that before anything else and I bet we're a lot better.

We do need CB depth tho, so signing or drafting one would be a good idea.

I'm more concerned with getting a complete defense established. RB and QB are low on my list of needs... but obviously we need to lose Cassel, Matt Moore is the name I like to take care of our QB depth problem. He's a vet and won't take many reps from Mariota in camp..

Watch out for Rishard Matthews being cut. That would make WR a real need with only Davis, Sharp and Taylor on the roster. His instagram post after the season definitely seemed as if he was gone. We free up 5 million by cutting him. Plus, no matter the cause or beliefs, if we are developing "the patriot way" anyone who causes a rift in the locker room is gone. He did. Besides, its not like he lit up the field this year either.

no way we cut matthews, his contract was front loaded so he wouldnt be a burden this year

hes also our most reliable WR, if anything they may even extend him

Not cutting Mathews...relatively cheap and reliable

NT and another DE is our biggest need. I like Taven Bryan and Vea the best.I'd like us to really address it quick in the first. We could make some moves with Ansah though in free agency.

ILB. Neither Avery or Wesley are consistently good. One is probably leaving in free agency, the other is getting pretty old. We definitely need to try to address this by the third or fourth if we don't do anything in free agency.

SS. Searcy is bad and overpaid. Cyprien is bad and overpaid. It's time to cut the former, and probably cut the latter by next year. Titans need to find at least a decent SS. Luckily for us, this draft has quite a bit good of depth at the position and we can potentially snatch someone worth while like Elliot or Harrison in the second.

    G. I rather we address this in free agency with Norwell or a short term deal elsewhere, but if we don't we'll need to try and snatch someone that can play immediately.

Outside of that, we just need some depth at a variety of positions. We need a back-up QB, RB, another slot receiver, and some CB depth.

Cutting Matthews is almost as dumb of an idea as someone saying they should cut Walker.

If Vea is there at 25, and can be a franchise NT, then I strongly consider that if all top LB's are off the board. Getting push up the middle beside Casey would really help this defense. I'd really like to see this team get a beast ILB though, that would be my top choice. OLB is important, both starters are getting older, and have expiring contracts next year. Then there's SS, and then I do what is needed on offense. Defense has been ignored for so long that I'd put a strong focus on it. If I had to list by position:

    ILB
    NT
    OLB
    SS
    QB - backup
    CB
    RB - small and quick
    G/C
    WR depth

I think the new O scheme and coaches will get a lot more out of this offense, that I would invest a bunch into it. I'd pick up a quality G in FA, maybe a vet backup QB, RB, McKinnon type and maybe a depth WR. The rest I probably look towards the draft. I do think this team is in great shape.
