Guess the OC

wht i dont understand is how Vrabel was hired without a clear choice at OC. Like how is he out there winging it for coordinators at this point in the process.

 

So I get the interest in DeFilippo, but not the massive hard on love for him. If he's really that special how come no one's hired him? I'd be excited to get him, but I don't know if that's based on Wentz's development, or more so the hype in here.

My question is, why is he getting all the credit for Philly's offense? He's the QB coach. Why is Frank Reich, the OC, not getting any love or credit? In addition to Wentz, he also worked wonder for Rivers.

 

Maybe Ryan Day was the clear choice. Not just Vrabel's guy, but he could of been JRob's target from the get go.

Or maybe just because Vrabel is such a true "Leader of Men"

For the record, I agreed with all your posts on Day. Super concerning. Not sure how so many here on board with that decision. Who knows tho, maybe we lost out on gem.

 

You know the more I read about Sean Ryan's NFL career the more impressed I am with him. While he has only worked Eli and Watson in the NFL the list of WRs he worked with is pretty amazing.

He's had Manningham, Nicks, Cruz, Beckham Jr, and Fuller all early in their careers and all of them had success under him. It also helps that the only young QB he worked with was Watson, who everyone had wrote off as a project, and he was on pace to be ROTY.

Idk if the Texans would let him interview with us but he would definitely be an interesting canidate.

More proven defensive coordinator?!? Hahaha how? He was only DC for a year in the NFL just like Vrabel.

 

Just now realized DeFilippo was the Browns offensive coordinator in 2015.
