Titans hire Mike Vrabel as Head Coach

    I don't like this at all. But I trust that Robinson wouldn't pull the trigger so quickly unless he was his guy. Maybe he has ties to some great coordinators.

    Had to have. No way you could do that in one half day interview. I am sure there is an entire map set out we know nothing about yet. The next few days will be exciting.

    Firing Mularkey was only about getting his stupid scheme away from Mariota. Vrabel is young, apparently likable and has a decent history. The drop in Texans D was due to personnel losses.

    It's all about the OC. Having Mariota as QB and a young HC with credentials like Vrabel's creates THE best OC opportunity in the league- HANDS DOWN. DeFilippo would be wise to come here, get experience as an OC before moving on to a HC position at a place like AZ. Same for LaFleur.

    It will be intriguing to see how long it takes to name our OC. I'm betting if the Eagles lose, we'll know right away (DeFilippo, LaFleur or Haley).

    I'll give Vrabel a chance. I was neutral on him. Bringing Haley in would not be a step in the right direction.
