Titans hire Mike Vrabel as Head Coach

I have an excellent feeling about this.

Vrabel is the type of leader they're looking for.

Obviously I'm curious who his OC is. But I don't think HC hiring had to be offensive.

I bet Texans QB coach Sean Ryan is an OC candidate. Obviously did good work with Watson.

Please change the Mularky out to Vrabel in, or something more appropriate. I think most of us are sick of looking at him.

Depending on the OC hire this could be okay. Maybe JRob felt the need to find someone the players would support since firing Mularky went over poorly with them.

 

Why are ppl linking Vrabel with Haley? Is there a connection I'm missing?

 

I have to imagine rumors will start flying as to who our OC/DC will be especially with DLB waiting to see what happens.

It would be odd to think DLB and Todd Haley would be working together again on the same team. With that said the steelers have annually attended the playoffs so maybe that's a good thing. I'd much rather have the next McVay though.

 

I'll say this.. rather hire some young, exciting coach like Vrabel over some boring retread.

 

In other news Dowell Loggans was named Dolphins OC. At least he will not be running our offense again.

 

They wouldn't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground.

Just like they said we shouldn't be in the playoffs, can't ever beat KC, we suck..etc.

I think they all suffer from post basket weaving syndrome.

 

Vrabel first played with the Steelers for years

 

I think Jon already had new Mike in the back of his mind in case old Mike would not make a change with his staff. This came together too quickly.
