Head coaches want more control, not less control ... we just fired a winning coach because he wouldn't surrender more control to the front office. Serious guys aren't looking to throw themselves in that position.

We are going to end up with Vrabel, a guy with a whopping 1 year of experience as a DC. I wonder if 2019 will be a strong draft in the top 5?

Mularkey has a winning percentage below .500 for every single team he was a head coach for.... winning coach lmao

 

He didn’t coach under Bill; he played. Urban has a pretty successful coaching tree, albeit not at the professional level. I don’t think he’s a bad option, and certainly don’t think he’d be worse than mularkey because I think he’d be smart enough to know you need to hire a good staff to be successful lol

I'm just saying being part of a winning organisation doesn't mean they will be a winning coach.

 

In his 2 full seasons as head coach, he won 56% of his games. As opposed to the previous coach, who won 13% of his games. He turned this team around in a very short time (as in his 1st year) and gave use back-to-back winning seasons since 2007-2008, gave us our first playoff berth since 2008, gave us our first playoff win in over a decade. That's called a winning coach.

 

Not quite, I'm having fun with it. I'm pretty humored by our dedication to get back in the top 5 picks of the draft, actually.
