So transitioning towards next season we have some things that are in place and other positions of need that have to addressed. Offensively I think we could still address the WR position, decker is gone, douglas is gone, Taylor still raw, Davis still raw, Matthews is the only sure fire WR on the team.
Would like to see an upgrade at RG and RB as well. Murrays contract is up and I think it's time to move on from him. I like Henry but not sure he's ready to be #1 back yet, but I hope so.

On the defensive side, I like our corners but Still think we could benefit from a true #1 cb to pair with Jackson and Ryan. CYPRIEN HAS TO GO! Would like to see us address that in FA.

    What do you guys think?

I think we need 15 draft picks and unlimted cap to fix all those problems.

This. People make far too big of a deal about our personnel issues . No team is perfect. Vikings, Jags, and Eagles are far from it, yet they know how to play to their strengths and not allow their weakness to be so glaring. We just got taken to the clinic by Amendola and a couple of RBs catching the ball. You don't need All Pros at every position in order to win.

I feel JR will take care of the coaching group, and quality people will fill the HC/OC/DC positions. Installing a system that'll play to the current rosters strengths means less holes to fill.

This team needs a stuf LB, ideally middle. I guy like Foster would be perfect, and he would have been available at 25 with how he slid. Also need another solid DL. CB is a need, although not as much as front 7. This can be a mid pick, or FA. I'd like to see Cyp replaced, but that's mid list I think. This draft and FA needs to be defense focused IMO.

On offense, I'd like to see a mid pick QB to groom behind Marcus, so if he goes down it's not a wasted game. A mid pick fast shifty change of pace back for behind Henry, and like Murray walk (use that $6.5M elsewhere on a FA). Find a G who can sub in, and improve one of the guards at some point. Maybe a C, but from what I've read, there's not a lot in the draft. Otherwise, I think we're good on O. WR's are fine as a new HC and scheme should make better use of the investments already made there. Matthews, Davis and Taylor should be just fine in the right system.

It'll come down to coaching, but this team could contend next year if JR has a solid draft and FA.

WR, RB, OG, DL, LB, and S.

    No big deal...

I like JRob, but how no interior lineman was brought in to at least compete with Klein or Spain during the offseason is beyond me. Those are not guys who should have starting spots locked up.

And Brian Schwenke does not count. We know what that guy is and it isn't a starter.

Disagree on WR, otherwise I agree. And honestly, it's not unrealistic to expect the GM to find 4 quality starters in an entire offseason, especially with cap room.

Keep all draft talk in the Draft Forum. Free agent stuff is fine.
