2017 College Football Thread

Not really.. He had DeAnthony Thomas, Kenyon Barner, and Byron Marshall, who are all in the NFL. Though they may not be superstar pros, they were great in college. Also, he had a freshman at that time, who will be in the NFL this year, is 4 year starter, Royce Freeman, a Derrick Henry type runner.

His team was all speed.. but they won mainly because of Marcus, but they did have talent.

 

how many players from the alabama team will go to the nfl? the comparison isnt close

 

You could say that about every college compared to Alabama..

He did have some decent players @Oregon..

I just thought of something. I remember seeing a post awhile back. Can't remember what thread. But it showed a list that someone had made on who would be NFL starting QB's in 2020.

I remember that Jalen Hurts was listed as some teams starting QB, and there was some debate on that. Now that the.new "Throwing Samoan" came in after Hurts was benched, I can't see Hurts even going back to starting next year.

He is a great runner, but is no QB.

I guess people thought he was like Cam, but Cam always had a good arm, and had a better knowledge of the position.

Anyone remember seeing that post or where I could find that. I can't find it on the web.

Dont follow college Evil Empire but Hurts should at least go thru spring pratice because you never know what might happen.
