I didn't understand the refs allowing it to play out anyways, or why the announce team never acknowledged the whistle. There was a very clear and loud whistle. Even if it was a fumble, they can't advance it after the whistle.

Ya. When I saw that live, I couldn't tell which OL it was, but he hits the ground hard. I thought we had an injury.

 

just like the 2 point conversion. There were like 20 whistles and the crowd was still pissed when their "return" didn't count.
