Lots of people are saying that he's a gerbler. You hear it everywhere; you can just ask anybody and they'll tell you. Lots of people have been saying he's a gerbler for a long time.

    Agreed, too many mistakes.

That Int was Corey Davis' and Robiskie's fault, not MM8. That route combo asks for Davis to clear out the outside corner by running a go route so that Walker has room to run on the corner. First of all, its a crappy play call with that shallow of field to work with, not much room to clear out. Secondly, Davis stutters then goes wide, and doesn't sell the go. Peters is too smart for that. If Davis sells it better and takes Peter's inside shoulder, the int prob never happens. It was a good throw by MM8, he didn't have any other options.

The throw to Davis early, how do you know it was a bad throw? What if Davis ran to flat on his break? I'm not sure, but seems the timing between the two of them is off, and Davis seems to be making a lot of mental errors.

A lot of blame being thrown at MM8 around here, and a lot is validated, but many times its not all on him.

He could have thrown it way into the stands instead of forcing it into a congested area. So yes there is also blame on Mariota.

He is anticipating his receivers executing the play the way its supposed to. Yea its a horrible designed play that had mariota anticipating walker getting open with the defense in man coverage. He can't just sit there and throw the ball away all the time because he doesn't "see" the receiver open.

Robiskie called the play expecting Davis to clear out the DB and he is judged an idiot by this forum.
Mariota threw the ball expecting Davis to clear out the DB and he is judged to be without blame.

That's exactly right. This is another perfect example of this coaching staff setting up a player to fail. Its a horribly designed play which is on Mularkey and Robiskie. They called the play thinking it would work. Mariota just threw the ball to where he has been told to throw based on the coverage on this particular play. This looked like it was designed for Walker all the way.
