Post-Game Thread NFL Wild Card Playoffs: Titans 22, Chiefs 21

We can't make all the mistakes we did and win next week. Face it-the chiefs aren't that good on defense, and hopeless without Kelce. Their DC should be fired. When they didn't load the box i knew we had a real chance to win, just didn't think it would play out like it did. The int was vintage M8 throwing into a crowd. Now why we had 3 receivers on routes within 5 yards of each other is a mystery. M8 fumbled twice and got away with it. Terrible throw to Davis early, and an ankle throw to Matthews on the stupid 2 point try. Still, he ran well, but that TD catch was pure luck. He's smart though-when he went to the ground he kept control even though he probably didn't need to. He's certainly leading a charmed life. Just ride it until it's over. I hope we get NE.

 

Mariota called a nice game aswell I think he to goes walker way to much at times though.

But the no huddle but some read options was just nasty all around.

 

Points allowed in 2nd half - 0.

First downs - 3

Yards allowed after Jackson fumbled on the 38 - negative 2 and a missed FG.

The D was freaking awesome in the 2nd half.

 

Just re-watched second half over here in the UK. Would love to know what people like Warren Moon felt: Music City Miracle, now Mariota’s Immaculate Deflection. Oilers couldn’t buy any playoff luck when the franchise was in Houston

I still think this is a dream.. So effing happy.

 

I’m on holiday in Cancun and watched it in the hotel sports bar. Just unbelievable!

There were 3 titans fans, 10+ chiefs and a bunch of neutrals. To be fair the Chiefs fans were gracious in defeat.

That moment when MM8 threw the block and the whole team was going crazy was probably my favourite moment in 15 years as a fan. Beautiful to watch. We finally won a playoff game.

I’m just so happy today. It’s been a hard few years so just lap it up and savour the moment.
