Players frustrated with the o all year

Since we're bashing Mularkey anyway and these threads push the others down, I'll post it here.

From ESPN (not my favorite by any means) has this as a story about Mularkey and his well timed challenges. Basically, he missed another opportunity to make a huge game altering challenge but didn't (I also blame the upstairs crew for Ten).

The fumble into the EZ recovered by SF ultimately called back for O PI could have actually been the Titans ball. The rule about "reestablishing yourself in bounds" could have come into play by the guy that recovered the fumble. By him not reestablishing himself, it should have been Titans ball after a touchback as essentially that guy was just extending the out of bounds line.

 

Youre setting yourself up if you think hes definitely gone, this franchise has stood by 8-8 seasons for decades..

we've been shafted by refs multiple times this year, it only stings more when you bring it up

 

This is more an attack on Mularkey. I can see a ref missing this call as fairly reasonable and because of the penalty, there was not even a second thought towards an official review because it wasn't a scoring play.
This is another missed opportunity for the Mularkey Mark and the funky bunch inability to challenge the plays. He's still what 0-4 in challenges? The Miami game comes to mind as his other big failure.

 

Last year was a good improvement from the previous year, missed playoffs by a game.
This year we added more talent and although the record could be the same we've taken a big step back imo.
The division set up nicely for us but we sh*t the bed....not taking anything away from the Jags, many won't admit it but they are a good team.

For that reason alone there needs to be change. It starts with firing Robiskie and wouldn't bother me to see Mularkey gone as well.

They are ruining the talent we have on this team

 

Mariota's long term development is more important than Mularkey's one year remaining on his deal. We would get a lot of value out of MM's rookie salary next year with a better coach. As it stands, by the time that we get a capable coach, the cost for Mariota will be much higher.

 

This is all a plot to be able to resign Marcus for cheaper. Keep the bad coach to pull his stats and effectiveness down then sign him to a discount extension. Fire the coach and bring in someone adequate and we prosper with our franchise qb for cheaper.

It’s a flawed, stupid plan, but it’s the only reason I can come up with that makes sense for hiring Mularkey in the first place. Lol.

 

We keep ****ting the same sheets on the bed. When is someone going to come in and save us by making a change (coaches and offense) lol.

 

Doesnt matter how Mariota performs, guarantee he will get almost as same as Winston does. IF they see him as a future QB.
