We need a HC that can play to our strengths, the staff is too old and outdated for young talented players

Look what McVay has done in LA

I dont think it is age, all NFL rosters are young, as much as it is job is to big for their talent.

MM should not be a HC or even an OC
TR should not be an OC
DLB is the best of these 3 and yeah possibly it is age with him

So you would be fine with another go for Coach whiz?

No. There are almost infinite other coaching possibilities that I would take over Whiz. He happens to be one of the VERY few that would be a downgrade.

As a matter of fact, when I wrote "almost impossible" Whiz was one of the coaches I was thinking of.

Can you post the rest of that response? It's a valid question.

I'd like to see what Cameron Wolfe at ESPN has to say about it other than yes but he understands.

The simple answer is yes... but I get it. I promise, I do. This is a team with a lot of talent, high expectations and a talented, dual-threat, young quarterback. But sometimes, especially more recently, the offense gets stuck in the mud. All of that is true and problematic.

We'll soon see if the observations the Titans coaching staff made during the bye week will lead to adjustments and more consistency on offense.

But let's take a step back: The Titans are 4-3, one game better than this time last year and tied for the AFC South lead despite an up-and-down first seven games in which Marcus Mariota, DeMarco Murray and Corey Davis all missed or were limited during significant portions of that run. The defense is playing well lately. They have an easy schedule down the stretch and a reasonable chance to break that decade-long playoff drought.

It hasn't been consistently pretty or exciting, but it's football and there's plenty of it left. The exciting part for Titans fans is that expectations are now reasonably high enough that mediocrity, or even just being decent, isn't good enough for this team.

I think he's missing what the criticism is then. The criticism has been about the coaches, not the talent. So by addressing the "what observations the coaching staff made" makes me nervous we're looking at much more of the same in the second half of the year. Haven't made any adjustments yet and week after week the same first half struggles continue.

The adjustments should be, remove Robiskie entirely and let Mularkey take responsibility for the team. That way if they fail, he is held accountable, not just robiskie at the end of the year.
