    So what?

My argument is why drop $300 on a switch to play Stardew Valley when he can spend $20 (or whatever it is) to play it on his already owned PS4.

When it comes to PC, sure if they have a gaming PC and prefer gaming on their PC then why would they but again, completely different argument due to compatibility, upgrades and why even have a console if they play on PC.

And if that's the thought process why buy a supremely inferior Switch when they can play on a PC.

Holy you are dense. It's not to play one singluar individual game. It is to acquire and play games on in the future as well. When you purchased your PS4, did you pick up a ton of games or just a couple? Most indies will be coming to both.

No, it's not "if they have a gaming PC." It's why buy a PS4, you can buy a gaming PC instead. I'm only saying this since you are so stuck on the Switch being inferior, why would you, Gunny, get a PS4 which is inferior to a PC?

    I have all 3

I am using your example of Stardew Valley. Your indie reasoning is 100% completely flawed. The *only* reason to get a Switch is the exclusive, especially if you have an existing console.

People buy consoles because they don't like gaming on a PC, playing in the comfort of their living room on a bigger TV screen and it's plug and play. You don't need to upgrade it every couple of years, every game will work.

No there's one other major factor called portability.

So why does your argument of comfort of living room, bigger TV work for PC vs PS4 but not the portability factor of the Switch?

FYI, you can play PC in your living room, on your TV, with your controller of choice. Can't take your PS4 on the go or change rooms mid game that's for sure.

    It's not that major dude.

Because we haven't been talking about portability.

If SDM wanted a portable console, then get the switch. If he doesn't then there is no need unless he wants to play Mario 462 and Zelsa 1094

And you can play your PS4 on the Vita anywhere, doesn't mean it's ideal. Or better.

If Portability is your be all and end all of why the Switch is so good then you have nothing. I, and many others, don't want to play on a smaller screen. I play to relax. That means sit on my ass and play on a big ass screen with immersive surround sound.

Okay okay okay, so your telling me the dual option of either playing on a big tv when able to then picking it up moving to another room with no issues isn't as good as only playing in the big screen? Gotcha. I am saying this about indies as that was my recommendation as to why it's the superior platform.

    No lmao.

I play PS4 and Switch mainly but even I know it's objectively the way to play.
