Perhaps you're right, but when the team identity is constantly a question mark and the results are what we saw yesterday then it takes on greater meaning. Going back to the Jacksonville game last year this team seems to have a big problem getting up for important divisional games. They make a ton of money as professional players- yesterday they looked like Pop-Warner. Where is the heart? Was it on the sideline after their QB got injured? Where was the pride or anger at what was happening? I can see the rookies being caught off guard, but to lose like that means they are missing a key ingredient- an Eddie George, a Keith Bulluck- someone who can rouse these guys when they're getting their ass handed to them.

 

Definitely one of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history

 

Only the 3rd game a remember turning off before the clock hit zero, NE 59-0, against Chicago in 2012, and this one.

 

The fact it was against a division team makes it really bad. Needed the win big time and we sh*t the bed

 

Gut check, smut check! We are who we've always been, pretenders! Until this team can at least become 3 games over .500, then I'm don't won't to hear about gut check. We continually come up empty over an over again.

 

I think it gets extra "bad loss" points for being against a division rival. And a mediocre division rival at that.

 

If Cutler; parker; stills; ajayi do the same as Watson; Hopkins; Fuller; and Miller. We are in for a every long season on defense.

They are gonna have to open the playbook early and take shots. But if they do that our luck is that the ball will be over thrown or drop leading to 3 and outs.

We need a coaching staff.

Just look what happened with the Rams. Goff was looking like a straight bust. Everyone thought the "titans swindled a team". They then fired their coach that was stuck in 1995-1999.

Hired one of the youngest coaches and Goff and the Rams look like a brand new team. Maybe time will tell after defensive coordinators get a year of tape on them.

 

I'm hoping that it was an "Anomaly" ... But a rookie prison raped the defense for franchise records. This is a COPY CAT league, the remaining teams on our schedule sure a hell will copy what hou did and if they have a half decent qb , then look out.
