That's a lot of anecdotal examples that you can't prove not only that they happened but that they were all racial motivated as you say, being pulled over by a cop isn't instantly being profiled, I've had the same thing happen none of these examples are proof of systemic racism. How many black people are running for office? Will you vote for a politician just because he's black? If so, that's really sad. I'll happily vote for the best policy I couldn't care less about skin color. Why does the color of a politicians skin matter so much to you, we just had a black president, voted into office.... by these "racist"Americans?

Lots of problems in the black community, single parenthood is one of the biggest. Why are fathers not sticking around? children raised by single parent homes are 20x more likely to end up in prison, 10x more likely to end up in poverty. You have women having kids specifically for benefits, basically marrying the government, this is learned helplessness and is product of a generous welfare system. Does that sound like a good situation for the kid? Is that racism holding them back? I don't think so.

Blaming cops and white people for everything only enables this behavior, solving black on black crime and single parenthood should be high on the list of things to fix in these communities yet both are ignored and everything is blamed on the system, white people and cops. Nothing will change as long as black fathers aren't raising their children in masses. Blacks killed 6k other blacks, police killed a little over 100. Black people make up 13% of the population and commmit 50% of all homicides. Are white cops also magically running up and pulling the trigger for them? NFL players should be speaking and creating opportunity in their communities yet they think tweeting at trump and kneeling during the national anthem will fix it.they could all use their platform for so much more. If you want to discuss further, make a thread in taboo.

Also for racism to be systemic you have to actually have laws and policy oppressing groups... where are they?

That's a lot of stuff...while I was in the NAVY I was the victim of systematic attempts of MP bullying. Every time I would leave the base when I returned I was stopped and my vehicle was searched by the MP's. Drug dogs and the whole nine yards, taking seats out of my jeep...everything....this one MP really had it in for me...of course I was sleeping with his girl...so..I guess it was all good.

This was my email to my Titans ticket rep this morning:

I am disgusted by the Titans lack of participation during the national anthem as well as Amy Adams Strunk's comments. It is also appalling that the Titans have hired someone to sing the national anthem that would then kneel after the anthem. My dad, aunt, and uncle all served in different branches of the armed forces. This country has afforded Amy Strunk the opportunity to co-own a stadium and for the Titans coaches and players to earn annual salaries in the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars (top 1% incomes in the United States). The disrespect they show this country is ruining the NFL gameday experience. Ultimately, fans like me just want to be entertained by a football game on Sunday. I am very disheartened to see the Titans utilize this behavior and lessen the experience of attending or watching a game. There are many other options of entertainment on a Sunday, and it may be time for me to consider those options if this is how the Titans plan to operate.

There are other means and manners to protest or show concerns about the nation rather than disrespect the country and flag during the national anthem. Most to all of this should be done outside of Sundays in front of the paying customers.

TICKET REP NAME, I realize you have nothing to do with this, but I don't know where else to voice my complaints to the Titans organization.

    Regards,
    MY NAME, original PSL owner.

Thank you TJ. One of the most impressive (and signature) home wins by our team and the post game thread is littered with the political elements. I'll check in taboo because I have a few things to say.

That was an intense, hard fought old school game. And although I hate having to say it, we did get screwed on a few key plays by the stripes. Sherman should have been booted- I don't know any way they justify allowing him to play. I hope the sports pundits light him and the refs up. I love the way Lewan was right on him. And he didn't take a swing which I was afraid he would do. That was a galvanizing moment for the locker room.

Fowler was awesome. I'm glad his getting reps now. He'll definitely continue to contribute.

We wore the Seahawks down. They're definitely a stout, top 5-10 defense. Murray's run was amazing how he used his blocks and that so many blocks were going with him downfield. That play happened because of our commitment to the run game in the 1st half. Watch the replay and you'll see Seahawk defenders running like their carrying 100lb bags of sand. And we were in the dark jerseys. This team IS tough.

I had to go to a father-daughter shrimp boil and missed this game. Very painful. But my son was there with his buddies and they were loud and proud. I'm glad he got to go to a game reminiscent of old time Titans football.

Seriously- no complaints from me at all about the coaching, team and game. Hard fought and overcame some REALLY bad officiating. That was a galvanizing day.
