That 2015 season with 35 TDs is a franchise record that might stand for a very long time. A reminder of the Bortles Era.

Every time a QB of theirs has a good season the graphic on TV will show the best seasons in Jaguars' history. Bortles will be at the top of the list and every Jags fan will squirm in their chair.

It's not like they passed on Mariota, only way they could have drafted him was to trade to 1, TB was taking a QB so wouldn't of happened.
They should have drafted a QB this year instead of Fournette but I can see their logic trying to help Bortles with a run game

Nah. They did it right. Give him every opportunity to be the guy. If he isn't this year(he isn't), they'll be in position to draft one of the QBs next year.

What they didn't do was upgrade over Henne. Somehow, four years after getting benched because he wasn't good enough to keep Bortles on the bench as a rookie, he's the better alternative.

You're right, they didn't pass but their fans wished they would have had the chance at him.

Jags will have some competition for the highest rated QB come draft time.

San Fran? If they get a top 3 pick I can see them trading it and signing Cousins or trading because they've signed Cousins.

Just because of how SF set their team up to tank this year and not really address the QB solely because they want Cousins, I think it would be hilarious if Buffalo or maybe Denver swooped in and took Cousins. Don't want the Jags to have him.

I see Cousins in SF because of Shanahan but money talks. Cousins would be a huge boost to Jags offense

Jets, browns, bills, 49ers, teams with 36+ year old QBs. ( Chargers, Giants, Cardinals)

Jets and browns will more than likely be in the top.

Browns could be in the same situation as Panthers were the year before drafting cam Newton.

Bills have zero commitment to Taylor.

49ers nothing is set in stone.drafting a younger QB to pair with new coach might sound better to the owner than a 29/30 year old QB that will command 25 million a year

For those reasons I can definitely see SF as the main push for Cousins after Washington pisses away their chance to keep him.
I just think it would be funny if another team snags him making this offseason of setup for SF kind of worthless.
