Yea I wouldn't expect all of those players to get huge raises either. Definitely not Morgan and Orakpo at that age

Lewan will get top dollar for sure

Casey will be an interesting one at 29 years old. Does he get a raise, or another fair market contract like the one has now? Actually his current contract probably works better in our favor. Team friendly deal.

Morgan, Rak, and Casey have all cashed in already, by 2019 I suspect theyll all be more interested in winning, and thats about the time this team will be contending.

Right now I gotta expect them all back on reasonable deals.. Unless they all just fall off a cliff in these next 2 years, but thats unlikely

I'd expect Casey to play at a high level longer than Morgan or Orakpo. JC can continue to hone his game and improve technique to let him to lengthen his career and keep productivity up. It can be done at OLB, but it's just harder the longer in the tooth you get.

I'd like to believe that Casey will be here for another 5 years at least.

I'd expect us to start looking more heavily at the OLB spot in 2018, especially if Dodd or one of the other guys on the roster doesn't show anything this year.

2019 we better be legit SB contenders if this rebuild goes according to plan.

ATL hosts the SB that year... would be pretty cool to make it that year and play in that awesome new stadium. And it's only a 4 hour drive from Nashville.

Oh believe me, I know. I was there too! I'm sure 90% of our fans know that too.

That's sort of what I was trying to get at... cool to return to ATL for many reasons.

Thought about posting a new thread but I'll just put this in here instead because I think it's an interesting topic, inspired by this article: http://walterfootball.com/rookieforecast2017titans.php

Which of our 2017 picks is the most likely to flop? I think Taywan (which is what the article says) is actually a decent choice, given he is a raw player with physical ability, that needs to get polished up.

Cant argue with the Taylor criticisms, basically Kendall Wright 2.0

but with an attitude adjustment Wright would be a solid pro

personally Im thinking one of the linemen we took will be most likely to flop

I like WF because of the quantity of content, but my god, the quality is just bad sometimes.

He started 50 games in a row. One injury is not a durability concern.
