Still think we trade with Browns and get our 52 back along with swapping outer second 3rd with Cleveland s first pick on the 3rd.

I disagree with this. In Lebeau's defense having 3 good Safeties is more important than having a couple shut down CBs.

    >Byard is versatile enough to play SS or FS.
    >Cyprien can only play SS
    >Searcy hasn't lived up to his contract and may get cut.

Drafting Adams or even Hooker gives us a very versatile core at Safety.

If the Titans don't trust Lattimore's injury history but still want a DB we should have no problem with Adams or Hooker.

    That would be odd.

If we go two pass catchers (we won't) I'd rather have one wr and one of Howard Njoku McCaffery.

The issue i have with this thought, is that searcy doesn't suck. No he's not the best, but he's in the top half of the league. Why draft any s at 5 when we already have 3 pretty good s? It just doesn't make since unless you really think they are going to be big upgrades or you are strictly building for the future. In "win now" mode s at 5 is one of the dumbest decisions we could make. Ultimately a trade down is ideal, but if forced to pick, a s doesn't make a lot of since.

    Searcy won't be cut IMO.

If you want to crunch some numbers --- we could be (if we draft S top 5) paying 15-18 million a yr for a SS position that constantly has rotation......

CB with just Logan Ryan (realistically) takes priority over a crowded Safety room........ JMac's cutting sent condolence flowers to a possibility of a safety at 5.

And Byard needs freed up to be the interception machine, as opposed to another box safety....

    Which would make 4!!

I could see Adams pairing nicely with Byard, Cyprien I think will be more of a LB than a S with us.

I really can't see them going WR at 5&18...WR &TE would make more sense if that's the route they choose.
D & Offence would be fine as well but I want a killer D. The offence showed last year they can put points on the board, it was the D that couldn't hold the lead.

I don't think I'd be happy at all with Williams at 12 and McDowell at 18. McD is basically what we heard Austin Johnson was. We need CB somewhere in the first 30 picks.
