Hard to tell who is going to be there and who isn't when there's like 15 corners projected in the third round.

Conley's been moving up, so he's probably out of reach, even if we move up in the second (which I think I'd like). He was my original favorite. I like Cordrea Tankersly a lot as well. He's more likely to hit the third round. I liked Jourdan Lewis, but now he's having personal issues so he's out. Depending on if Sidney's achilles is ruptured or not, I'd like him at 3 if he's available. Quite a few other guys as well, and even later than the third. Draft is absolutely stacked at corner.

Lots of guys I don't like though as well. Hope we don't settle for Quincy Wilson or Desmond King, for example.

I'm reading that Desmond King will likely be a safety in the NFL. Could be a good mid-round pick for us. He should translate to a great free safety that could also spot sub at nickel corner.

You can only hope he falls to the 3rd. Long speed is an issue, but his quickness (6.6 three cone drill) and instincts will make him more rangy than he has any right to be. I doubt he makes it past the second.

If we ran more C3 he would be a great fit for us. He won't survive in our man heavy scheme tho.

True, Dick loves hanging guys out to dry. That's how he gets his kicks.

Well, that's another way to go. Say, trade back to 10 or 11 to get a 2nd round pick. Then take say - Lattimore at 10 and Peppers at 18. Grab a S in the 2nd or 3rd rounds and a TE. Byard could move to FS, Searcy penciled in to start at SS and bring in Peppers at nickel S or nickel LB as he learns the defense!

The signing of Cyprien most def. makes me feel strongly it's going to be either CB or Trade Back at 5..

While Cyprien is not completely Jamal Adams --- they both specialize in playing in run support and/or box, big hitting safety.............

I look for a later round project to be taken in order to keep from spending way too much money at SS (with adams it could stretch from 15-18 million a year for 3 SS's)

I would be pissed if we wasted a 1st rd pick on Peppers
