Why would anyone think he would play 10 years?

Good routes? Maybe good for a 5th round rookie, not in an overall sense. Dude couldn't shake anybody 1v1 coverage.

Sure handed, yeah if he's wide open. Is he really sure handed if he can't hold onto the ball even with minimal contact?

I agree that people are much too hard on Tajae. Put him in the line-up with two good - very good receivers and he will be more than capable. Mariota will only have to throw to him when he is wide-open and he will almost always make the play.

Well, maybe the media and half the fan base shouldn't of crowned him as our future #1 WR that this team has been needing.

Tajae was good value in the 5th round. But he has a very low ceiling and shouldn't be an automatic starter next season.

Sharpe will be a stable addition to our WR Corp for years to come... anyway.

People are just ragging all our WR corps because we don't have a true#1WR. We draft duds early and we don't pay for proven talent in FA so we all desperately WANT a stud WR on the team. Fans aren't as stupid as DW is quick to suggest, they just are frustrated.

It's sad when all you have to get behind are "nice guys" who are working hard. We expect more in the way of production than these nice guys who've "bought in" can deliver. And we just refuse to pay what it costs to bring in nice guys who have proven production.

We need to bring in several WR this offseason. It's why it's disappointing we didn't get a head start in the draft.

We have two usable pieces of a wr corps. Matthews, a decent #2, and sharpe, a number three at best right now.

    Behind that is garbage.

We need a number one, and a couple of young late round or udfa guys.

Part of me wants to say "screw defense" and take Howard at ten (hopefully) and Ross at 18.

We are bottom half of the league at WR. Riverman said all that needs to be said ^ above...

I think Matthews deserves credit for being more than a decent #2. Most teams would love a WR2 who can put up nearly 1,000 yards and 9 TDs.

Well Christ. When your competition for catches is a fifth round rookie, and the corpses of harry Douglas and Andre Johnson, someone has to catch a few balls.

Maybe the guy is a high end #2. We shall see.
