Far too often the team with a sexy free agency doesn't amount to a whole lot. Just a lot of heavy spending.

Unless your team just needs that one piece or two for a shot at the Super Bowl... temper it.

 

How are we weaker for losing Woods, Spence, and Schwenke? Three liabilities. Hilarious people are lauding three signings like Spence, Schwenke, and Woods but hate who we signed.

 

Did I say over spend? No
Did I say sign every FA out there? No
How many drafts will it take to get to that one or two missing pieces?

 

You said a sexy free agency... teams that have a sexy free agency don't get what they expect and that's wasted money.

Cmon man, we paid a guy who graded out worse than Al Woods in the run and pass 3x as much as he was getting. We haven't replaced Spence who played over 50% of our LB snaps and was our Nickel backer. Schwenke was our only G/C backup.

We have created more holes through free agency than filled.

 

This has the look of another 4 win Titan team.

But woohoo we have 60 mil dollars to draft.

Woods apparently wasn't considered good enough, as he was CUT after we signed Williams. Schwenke did appear to play better last season, but I think Kline can slide over to play C if needed. Titans are high on Tretola as a G. IMO, Spence is our biggest loss in FA so far...

 

There are a few LB's out there that would be an upgrade from Spence, so not a terrible loss. But I know JRob won't bring them in.
