I've posted this before and I'll post it again.

The cap increases every year, with the cap increase tragetory and the current contracts on this team, Titans are projected to have 140 million dollars in cap space in 2019-2020.

Who currently on this team do you think is gonna command big money??

Mariota, Lewan. That's pretty much it. Walker is gonna be old and people are talking about drafting his eventual replacement this year. Murray will be old and even then, look at the RB market this year.

One or even 2 big signings isn't gonna screw this team from locking up any talent currently on this roster for the future.

But the time for that has passed. Time to hope Williamson has been sneaking PEDs, that Sims turns into Richard Sherman or Tajae Sharpe has actually started lifting weights and found a way to not be one of the slowest receivers in the league.

Guys on this roster gonna need to step up this year, overachieve or it will be a complete decade of no playoffs.

This is a fantastic thread, I wish I could give you more than 1 H5.

We're going to have some expensive pieces that we'll want JR to resign. Not all of them listed, but many of these guys are (hopefully) going to want to get paid. My hopes are the culture keeps growing and JR drafts well so guys want to stay here and sign friendly fair deals to stick together. Kind of like the Pats, go figure.

Did I want to go all out and get guys like Bouye here? Damn right! But my next fav CB was Ryan, and JR made it happen. He's also trying to fix ST which was a HUGE issue last year. Not sure how I feel on the Cyp signing, but if he's used right, it could be a good tandem with Byard. Add this to having 2 1st' and 3rd's this year and I really like where JR has this team heading.

Please, who on this team is going to command big money to eat up 130 million dollars in cap space in the next 2-3 years, that isn't named Mariota or Lewan.

I wouldn't of minded throwing big money at the guys who took 1 year deals like Pryor. Well have money available next year, why not spend it if it's not hurting us long term? Read somewhere Poe was wanting a 1yr deal.. why not? But I'm not worried, J'Rob has it all under control.
