How can the league shorten NFL games?

There is no drama like the chain gang coming on to see if they got a first down by an inch. It's really stupid to think they can be that accurate, but makes for good TV. Bring back the Dicker Rod!

 

It was running 8 clock minutes behind than the other games that started at the same time. If you rewatch the first quarter it's almost all right there with the commercials, injuries and flags disaster. You get 1 Titans play and then 10 minutes of bs in the condensed version of the game lol

 

Would work great, honestly it's only a matter of time. Then the refs can focus on more important things like WTF IS A CATCH.

 

You want to talk length of games....try college. I used to set my DVR with 30 extra minutes (3.5 hours), now that doesn't even come close anymore. College has to quit stopping the clock on 1st downs at the very least.

 

Halftime can be shortened too. it's like they play two games. college halftime feels like an eternity.

 

I need time to go grab a cold beer.

Not having Fishface as coach has shorten ours...you could count on a game lasting close to 4 hours with that dickhead.

 

Nothing needs to change. The game times are perfect. If you make halftime any shorter, people in attendance at the game won't even have time to get up, get a drink and use the restroom.

This is the mark of a Goodell NFL, trying to fix things that aint broke.

Now if you're talking college football, their games are WAY too long. They should cut their halftime in half (fourthtime?). They also stop the clock on 1st downs, which I actually like for college but wouldn't in the NFL.
