He has to go the 53. If he clears waivers I believe he can sign with any team's PS.

 

If all checks out, I'd claim him and put him right on the 53, free 3rd rounder in a position of need. Can't see him staying on our PS, someone will claim him.

I have no problems cutting all three, but it's only necessary to cut 1. Riggs.

Yep. That's why I figure he'd be the one cut IF they were to try and sign Russell.

 

Cut without playing a snap after being drafted in the 3rd round... That's probably not a good sign. I have no faith that he'd be any better than what is already here. Highly doubtful they put in a claim.

 

Was certainly productive at Dame against top competition...

 

Robinson will check out his scouting report on Russell. Doesn't matter what he did with the Chiefs. Robinson will report back to his original opinion on the kid.
