Again...where is Dodd...our big 2nd round pick? Blackson had a nice tackle, and I didn't even know he was on the team.

 

1. The secondary is awful.

2. Murray was cheap because he fumbles too much.

3. Sharpe is the only decent WR on the roster.

4. Lewan's fat ass should be cut or traded. He's a lousy bully who gets flags and constantly lets subpar DEs get the jump on him. Don't give me any of that crap that tackles are hard to come by, there are dozens of tackles out there.

5. Henry did well, but he didn't get used after the first half, why? Where was the run game?

6. Kill the zone read crap.

 

Okay, so I didn't get to watch the game, but it seemed much like last year by the score. Get up early at times, then fall apart. We cannot finish games, and I just don't get why. We stopped AP and Shaun Hill and still lose....WTF. That said, I'm not checked out yet. It's week 1 and they have a tough defense. I don't think we are a 3 win team, but it's definitely disappointing. So fill me in, quick summary...

 

Maybe we'll see Conklin at LT before the season is over?

 

Hope so. Because Lewan is a huge liability.

 

Totally agree...also was wondering what he was thinking when he took the penalty on an unsuccessful third down play by the Vikings. He got away with it when the Vikings did not convert the next play, but that was not too sharp IMO.

 

Penalties and immaturity were evident when he was at Michigan. This GM isn't tied to him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him moved to RT.

 

Minnesota didn't beat Tennessee today.... Tennessee beat Tennessee

 

I don't understand why we totally went away from getting Delanie involved in the passing game? Bottom line, Vikes coaching staff made adjustments to win while we stayed stubborn with trying to establish our exotic smash mouth running and fakes.

 

I'm wiling to give him time, but I'm not convinced he's a franchise LT.
