Ok here goes. I'm going to my first football game in the states (something I've wanted to do for 30 years) and want to get the most out of the day. I have tickets for the browns game. I'm getting into Nashville Saturday afternoon and will be out on the town, then all day Sunday at the game and night out again. I'm interested in the whole tailgate thing and if I could blag my way into that but don't know if it's a private party kind of thing. I'm visiting from scotland so not sure quite what the craic is? Any advice welcome. Cheers.

D.A.R.Y.L, loved that movie as a kid. My first taste of the SR71. Yea, Alzarius gave you the link to all the knowledge you need.

    Cheers.

Ok. Thanks. I suppose what I'm looking for on here is some locals that are going to the game for a hook up. You know, a guided drink and eat a thon sort of thing. Day out with titans fans going to the game. I know it maybe sounds a bit weird seeing as I know no one on here but I figure if we have football, beer and bbq in common, what can go wrong? My brother is travelling with me by the way so im not a Billy no mates just looking for a great day out.

A few of the people on here usually park in the same area near Nissan Stadium and tail-gate together. @TitanJeff I think coordinates that.

So when you say you pay for parking does that mean you take your own truck and do your own bbq? I'm keen on trying to get involved with someone else's but don't know if that's possible.

This forum has a tailgate going every game. @TitanJeff @Titanium @GoT

are always there, and they are great, fun, hospitable people. You can bring a side dish, but there is always food going for everyone

That's where you should go before the game. They can get you all the details for sure.

Depending on how bad the Titans are playing in a given year, sometimes the tailgates are more fun than the game.

All right. Taking a side dish from scotland may be an issue. Get a bit manky and all that. Do you reckon a bottle of whisky would be fine or is there drink restrictions around the stadium?

You pay for parking whether you plan on BBQing or not. If you want to get to the game earlier enough to set up a grill and bring food, people are more than welcomed to do that, no extra fee.

You will get more info when @TitanJeff gets time.

You take your own vehicle. Pay to park in the parking lot. (10 or 20, my memory is horrible) Rights outside the parking lot is the gotitans tailgate.

I believe they accept donations for food but no one asked me for anything the time I went and everyone was trying yo get me to eat. Just a group of Titans fans drinking and eating before the game. When I went, I didnt have to bring anything but youre more than welcome to if you want.
