So you are ignorant of football then. Ever play the game? Ever block anybody?

Bleacher report ranked the right guards and had Warmack 13th. That would be better than average, there are 32 starting right guards. He was ranked higher Johnathan Cooper from the same draft but behind Larry Warford.

If we are playing a system that suits him well and the players to each side of him are better he can have a pro bowl season. Yanda didn't make his first pro bowl until age 28 and he is considered the best guard in the league. Warmack is just 24 now.

I see no analysis at all. You probably think Chance is not forcing enough fumbles or getting enough sacks.:sarcasm:

I understand the high expectations thing. We all expected Warmack to to be like Zack Martin has been for the Cowboys. Martin was the 14th pick in the next draft and has been a pro bowl player from the beginning.

Obviously we expect better than average run of the mill bloke. We expect him to be a stalwart player and he is not that. I think he will be this year and gave my reasons why. Not making excuses this is on him, he needs to work harder and be more of a leader. Having Lewan at his right will help.

PFF graded Warmack a backup level player in 2015. Not a below average starter... Backup level.

He ranked 40th among all guards overall and 52nd in pass protection. 52nd.

He's a liability in pass protection, he commits a lot of penalties and always seems to have injury concerns. I'm sorry, I wish it wasn't true, but dude has been a total bust so far.

I'm not worried about Warmack. Isn't what we hoped he'd be, but he's a NFL starting Guard imo. I believe he'll be better this season.
