He's okay at LG, bad at RT. Depth signing and may not even make the final roster, similar situation with Blake. I also think it's crazy to think signing Byron Bell has any influence on our #1 pick...

 

Uhh dude... You obviously misunderstood my point.

I have wanted us to draft Ramsey since about October/November... And I remained in that position when we secured the #1 spot. That said, a DB has NEVER been taken #1. Not that I agree with that sentiment, but there is a reason for it. They may not be an every play impact player like DL/OL are.

What I meant with that post is that absolutely nothing we have done in FA signals Ramsey or Tunsil. Yet everyone here keeps saying "this means Ramsey is coming home," etc. There's no logic behind that reasoning. That was the point of my post.

I still want Ramsey at #1... But I admit if I were a GM and our OL looks the way it does now, I might feel compelled to take Tunsil.

Same thing I was thinking last year with Mariota. I personally wanted Winston and if he was gone as expected, I wanted to trade back or take Williams/Cooper... But if you're the GM and you have a complete question mark at QB and on the hot seat, you'd pretty much have to take a shot on Mariota.

Similar situation this year IMO.

 

Serious historical question.... When was the last time a team spent two firsts in 3 years on LTs with the first LT playing the position fine? And top 12 picks at that

 

After going Tackle, Tackle in the 2nd and 3rd round in 2012 the Chiefs went Tackle again the next year after it was learned Jeff Allen wasn't an NFL Tackle.. Thats close to what youre asking.
