I think Whisenhunt/Webster legitimately thought Poutasi was a RT. They were really bad at their jobs.

 

I think they thought his size alone would improve the run game. Whisenhunts call either way. Played out of position regardless of the thinking.

yes we have less then ok players at their positions but Im assuming we're not done adding talent yet.

Bring this up with me in October and lets see how those guys are doing

Really, Id say after the 4 starters you need just 3 backups per game bringing the number to just 7 maybe 8, but 12 no way

again just my 2 pennies on the matter, but 12 seems way too much

 

It was a failure by the coaches and the GM...the coaches did a horrible job of trying to protect a young rookie that they were forced to play because the GM did a horrible job of building OL depth.

I agree, still haven't done anything about our weak ILBs and CBs, not to mention the lack of a FS. can't expect to fill all those holes in the draft.

 

We won't. I still expect us to sign 5 or more guys before the draft. Ot, og, cb, fs, ilb and olb will all be at least attempted to be addressed before the draft. I think jr is going to be a bpa type of drafter, its the pats way. In order to do that, you have to fill your "holes".
