Not trying to be rude, but that isn't really correct. The plaintiffs in this case are from cases that were publicly know. And the players on question were suspended immediately. So sweeping under the rug is hardly an issue.

The Peyton Manning angle (whether true or not) is ridiculous in this case. Almost as ridiculous as the plantiffs argument that playing rap music in the stands and in the locker room promotes rape.

 

This thread is getting too personal. This is supposed to be a football discussion, not a thread for personal attacks against other members.
For all those attacking Manning, let's take a look at some other HOF players.

Let's not pass judgement on a guy who has not had any issues during his entire pro career.

No, just pointing out that there are many other HOF players who actually did negative things while they were actually in the NFL and you guys are bashing a guy, who had a spotless pro career, about something that happened two decades ago when he was in College.
