I would say the team is NOT for the sale but the NFL has a REAL problem with our ownership situation, and won't go away either..

This may end ugly...likely in a forced sale IMO.

How can they force them to sell?

They may not like it, but I dont see the NFL winning any case forcing the Titans to sell

NFL apparently wants a single majority owner not equal shareholders. Or at least an elected CEO with authority granted to act n the behalf of the other owners. I guess doing so facilitates league business decisions.

There must be some uneasiness among Strunk and her sister that prevents the sale of 1% stock to give one more control over the other.

I think it would be very hard for the NFL to win or even force the ownership percentage to change because legal precedent has already been set within the league with Green Bay's ownership structure. It is very hard to set mandates when you have already made allowances for variations within your corporate structure. Plus, I don't think the league stands to gain much by pressing this in to the courts - they lose money and look weak/mean/heartless and that is not a winning combination.

I think the difference is that Green Bay DOES have a CEO with authority to speak on behalf of the other shareholders. It appears that both sisters don't want to let the other have a higher share % and/or are unwilling to grant the other the authority to act on behalf of the other shareholders.

All speculation, I'm sure there is some financial advantage for them to be obstinate on this point. My point in all this is that I am THOROUGHLY convinced neither of the sisters have a genuine interest in producing a team that wins on the field at the expense of their profit margin. I've been gouged long enough by this dung-pile ownership. Retaining Mularkey and then pushing that craptacular PR spin regarding the hire is absolutely unacceptable.

I'll just keep my money, buy some tix on the second market for a playoff game and still come out ahead. This chit ownership KILLED my fanatic fandom. I'll watch my profit margin the same way they do.

A "majority" owner would have to own at least 51%. Otherwise the other 2 combined could still make decisions. So assuming they each own 33%, one would have to buy 18% and the other 2 would have to want to sell. That 18% is worth 360m, idk if any one of them has that kind of money.

Would you guys flip if the Raiders actually moved to Las Vegas and the Titans were sold to an owner who moved them to Oakland? San Diego? St Louis?

I still dont get why if we're sold we're expected to relocate... Nashville deserves a team and selling football in the south is like taking candy from a baby, its just too good to leave..

If at some point the fans really stop caring and dont show up for games then maybe, but as of now theyre having no problem cashing in on the team being in Nashville.
