    Our GM job is ideal for several reasons (#1 pick, mariota, cap room, new HC, etc) but most important is that an average performance will make new GM look a genius.

    Even as an outsider looking in, it is a nice situation to take over. Mariota, #1 pick, money to spend in FA. The bar is so low that anything you do will be better than what they're used to.

    Too bad about Tobin. They draft real well. So much so that last draft all they basically did was draft for depth.. Considering they have the smallest scout pool in the NFL that's no small feat.
    That said, Cincy will never fire him so it's job security until retirement.

    I've done some reading on Eric Decosta, and he has actually turned down interviews for a lot of the teams that have been after him. I'm not sure if he has ever even interviewed for the GM spot because he always turns them down.

    Side note, the Ravens have already made him one of the highest paid football operations people in the league so it would take a hefty amount to pull him away.

    The Ravens' GM said in an interview that the contract they gave him doesn't mean he won't leave but it would take the "perfect job in the perfect city" for him to leave.

    If Decosta does accept our interview request, then we actually have a really good shot at landing him, considering he doesn't interview with other teams often, if at all!

    You know these guys research the team before they go in for an interview, and with Marcus, the #1 pick, and plenty of cap room, Decosta might be intrigued enough to interview with us.

    Breaking news: The Tennessee Titans promote from within for their vacant GM position. The new GM, only known at this time as Jimmy the towel boy has been with the Titans in some capacity over the past 13 seasons but had never held a position higher than jock strap fitment consultant. He's said to be well respected within the Titans organization.
