In division trade

    Im a Texans fan but was curious if Titans fans would be in favor of this trade considering both team's needs

    To Titans from Houston
    Duane brown
    Ezekiel Elliot
    2nd round pick 2017

    To Houston from Ten
    Paxton lynch

    I really liked what I saw from Lynch when Memphis came to town to play UH and even though id love for zeke to be running the ball for us next year we need a franchise qb.

    No way in hell do I trade #1 overall for a pick in the 20s(presumably Elliot), a 30-year old LT with two years left on his deal and a future 2nd round pick. And I definitely wouldn't do it to allow a division rival to get what they think is a franchise QB.

    What do you expect to get when the qb prospects arent even rated as high as last year's prospects and the majority of qb needy teams will be in position to draft a quality prospect?

    Probably more than a team is willing to give, frankly. It would have to be multiple first round picks and probably some second or third round picks as well.

    The Titans have the opportunity to draft the absolute best player in the draft. If they're going to pass that up to drop down to the 20s and help a division rival get their franchise QB it needs to be BIG compensation.
