We have drafted horribly at the linebacker position for some time. You can't keep taking guys in rds 2-4 that are worthless crap.

Keglar, Mcgrath, Curran all came before Webster but Ayers, Brown and Gooden were wasted picks. Gooden is not even a decent #4 ILB.

Webster's best pick from a value perspective was Mettenberger but that was after he passed on him 5 times before. That was a luck pick.

Warmack was not a wasted pick he is just not as dominant as we hoped. He is still our best run blocker on the line.

The free agent pickups seem to be pretty good. The 3 starters on defense are playing ok and the pickups at TE helped make up for the failed Taylor Thompson experiment.

Fasano signed for $2.6M a year and we got Coffman for the bare minimum. Not dumping Woodyard to save money was also a good move.

Is the purpose of this thread to defend Whiz's horrible coaching? He's too intellectual for these stupid players right?

How do you justify Levitre, Wimbley, and Pollard?

All three of those guys were supposed to be big time starters. One was traded, the other retired early after taking a paycut and another asked for his release.

Hitting on a backup tight end isn't spectacular.

Who is going to fire him?

As far as I can tell, the ownership group doesn't even know who is truly in charge of the team. I have zero faith in their ability to 1) recognize that Webster and Whiz must go; 2) hire capable replacements.

Weak ownership wrecks a team from the top down. Doesn't look likely, but the best thing that could happen to the Titans would be getting sold.

How many times have I said "new owner, new GM, new HC, new QB, new uniforms."

I think we may have fallen ass backwards into the QB part, but the rest need replacing.

why not a team change too?

I mean Im not happy with any of what the Titans are doing, but if we have a half decent RT a lot of our problems go un-noticed.

Webster should hang for that alone. He's made us dysfunctional.

I honestly think if this board ran the draft room in a democratic style we would have done better than Webster.
