Preds do something for the community, and actively engage new fans. They got me, and I am proudly Preds 1st, Titans 2nd. And I HATED hockey before going to a Preds game.
Titans brass just sits on their hands and hopes people show up. Hockey is growing in Nashville, and football has been stagnant for a decade or more. It's the truth...



Even the most dedicated Titans fans are willing to admit that they do the in-game stuff way better. They make it fun.

booo.. The Blues are the Titans/Oilers of the NHL. Never get it done when it counts, despite being around for 40-50 years or more. You'd fit right in there. It's nearly as depressing to be a Blues fan.

All this being said..It's bad form to have that tweet up. Preds/Titans generally have a good relationship. T Rac has been to Preds games, etc.

Man its depressing being a blues fan. But man for real 4 straight playoff appearances and we haven't gone past the 2nd round. Not to to mention the division is catching up fast we had 5 teams in the playoffs last year 5 and Dallas was a few wins off from making it as well.

Its starting to worry me i desperately want a new coach Hitchcock isn't cutting it the team loses all drive and becomes the worse team in the league once playoffs come. As the other teams get better and we keep blowing playoff appearances we might be looking at our last year at the top may be fighting for wildcard spots soon.

 

Oshie is gone, too. Paul Statsny was somewhat of a bust for you, but Tarasenko is out of this world.

 

Tarasenko is a monster im glad they got him locked for the next 8 years.

 

That's the difference between football and hockey. You don't have to do anything at a football game to make it fun. It's fun because it's football. I'm not there to see a 60 year old grandma throw football through a tire and win a gift card for shoes. I'm there to watch the football game and my Titans in action.

Football has been stagnant because the Titans haven't been any good. We're on the rise again and watch it come back to where it was before once we get the pieces around Mariota to succeed.

 

You think Hockey needs spicing up? It doesn't, but the Preds do a good job with the in-game stuff. They foster pride in their team.. The Titans just don't. It's obvious from going to see both teams. Please don't start defending the organization that trots out Amie Wells (horrific attempt at a sports newscast or something), and attempts to start such epic chants as "BACK IT UP!!" with 2 seconds of Sweet Home Alabama. It's poor, but it has gotten a little better.

I'll take it that you've never been to a Preds game. It turned me from a hater to a fan in one day. My wife fell asleep at the Titans vs. Jags game last year, and I honestly don't blame her.

I've been a Titans fan since 1999.. but you have to give credit where it's due. It's stealing radio airtime because people are interested in hearing about it. They have been here equally as long as the Titans.

Titans need to do something, because half of the 3 hours spent in the building is a TV commercial break, or play stoppage. Titans brass lost all credibility when they fraudulently "donated" tickets to vets.. aka selling them to Cowboys fans. I am a fan of the team, but not the way they operate at the highest level of ownership.

 

Lame. I've heard dozens of variations of that same joke.
