And I don't see what leverage has to do with any of this. This isn't about total money. The money is slotted. This is about getting paid by two teams at the same time if he's awful.

I'll admit I don't understand why Tennessee was so confident in Mariota to select him #2 and then worry about paying him if he's released with time left on his contract.
