    Happy Friday erbody!

I'm looking to make it up to the home opener against Indy but was needing some advice on where to book a hotel. The rates I've seen for hotels near LP are redick. I've never been to Tennessee so I've really no idea where to start. Reasonable and safe place to stay, good sections and seats for the game, where to get tickets and I'd also love to crash some tailgating if possible. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just find one of the Holiday End's or Red Roof Inn's in the downtown area as far as rates go. There is plenty of Hilton's and Embassy Suites in the area as well.

Talk to TitansJeff about tailgating as he seems to have the pulse on that activity on gameday.

I stayed at a motel 6 by the airport when I was down there. About a 10 min drive from the stadium. I don't know about rates during games as I went down in April, but it was like $90 a night.

Thanks guys! I was using hotels.com to check some places out and the ones close to the stadium are like $300-$350 a night. Not looking to stay in a roach motel but not looking to pay an arm and a leg either.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn about 10-15 min drive from the game... It was closer to downtown.. Don't remember the exact address but there was a McDonalds & Hog Heaven BBQ joint across the street..

I really enjoyed my stay, and it was worth the price. I think it was around 200 a night but there was 3 of us in a 1 room, so it was affordable.

When I did my research at the time, it sounded like the stadium is in a poor area of town, not really a tourist friendly area, so we didn't wanna stay there.

When I go back, I'll stay at the same Holiday Inn.

I'm pretty sure this was the exact Holiday Inn.. It was right next to Vandy's stadium..as a matter of fact, my window view was the stadium! they also offered a nice shuttle bus service to downtown, the real core of the city you'll want to be visiting and partying at (not the stadium part of town). It was also close by to a wonderful breakfast place called Pancake Pantry

Clarion Inn are great hotels in my opinion also. I would definitely entertain any hotels on the east side of Nashville as the commute in is a lot easier if you are new to the area. Donaldson, Mt. Juliet, Goodletsville....

Just wanted to thank everyone for all their help. I managed to get damn good seats in section 134 4th row and will be there for the home opener against Indy. To say I'm super f***in stoked would be a huge understatement. Thanks!
