DGB is raw, no doubt, and he could easily bust or never become great, but as I have said before, that is the case with MANY players. I am more worried about his character and willingness to work at the game. I personally liked Jaelen Strong with the #2. He was still big, proven, no character worries, and sure hands (maybe the best in the draft). I am scratching my head why they didn't choose him. The wrist injury is not a big deal.

We were going for the high ceiling of DGB. DGB has dominated at every level of football he has ever played. We are hoping that he can do the same in the pros.

Exactly what I said...Even if he doesn't pan out and turn into our solid outside guy, there is nothing that makes me think he won't be a successful red zone guy. That kind of size is a problem.

Plaxico had 4 years of 1000+ yards and a couple seasons with double digits TDs. I'd be happy with that production from DGB, but I think we could get more.

Dominated? He hardly dominated at Mizzou.

The thing that scares me is the coaches coming out and saying he had no concept of a route tree, or any terminology outside of the elementary.

I watched a guy like that first hand. His first D1 touchdown was on his first drive. He forgot his route,so he ran a go and just beat his guy for a TD.

    Electric College player.Physical freak.

That was Cordarelle Patterson. He got to Minnesota, and has been a limited weapon on offense because, just like in college, he can't be consistent, because he can only run two routes and can't learn plays.

Really hope DGB can develop into a complete receiver.

DGB is so physically dominating that it's no surprise he didn't put as much work in learning the playbook or putting in more work with his technique. He'll have a rude awakening when camp starts. You can't just go off physical ability at this level.

I agree with that....The question is, did our FO do their homework and assess whether or not he is truly capable of doing so, or just rolling the dice and hoping that the becomes a monster at the NFL level?!

He's a guy that was projected to go in the top 10 but his off field issues shot him down the draft order. I don't think any team lacks confidence that they can tune his game but the elephant in the room has always been what he does off the field. Again, none of us have seen him since making it to OU. I've read reports that he dominated practice, stayed out of trouble, the coaches and players love him, and despite not playing everyone believed he was actually part of the team. If he brings that attitude and work ethic to the Titans then we struck gold.

I've watched a few of his interviews, and I think he will be fine.

The worst kind of bad Apple you can get is someone who is a bad person and also a leader.(Pacman)

I don't think DGB is either of those. He didn't seem like the brightest crayon in the box, but he seemed like an alright dude.

Surround him with good leadership and good off the field support, and I think he could be alright.
