Considering how bad those teams are and how bad they draft, this doesn't give me much confidence.

But the Browns and Jets really did have good drafts.

Browns passing on a WR until round 4 is dumb though. I remember last year they didn't even draft a WR which was also incredibly dumb.

Yeah, was a little confused by those picks. Loved everything but Poutassi, Fowler, and Blackson - simply because I liked other players at the time. Looking back at it now, I would of took: Owa Odighizuwa, Daryl Williams, & Tre Jackson. We still get another DL, find our RT, and even find Levitres replacement.

I do like Fowler however. I like him as a prospect, just thought we reached a bit. I just hope we use him and he can get some carries like Le'Ron McClain/Mike Tolbert use to. He can be an impact blocker, short yardage back, and can even catch the ball.

Poutassi I just feel needs to be an OG. Hopefully, we can get through the year with Poutassi/Bell at RT. Next year, invest an earlier pick on an RT and move Poutassi to replace Levitre.

Still scratching my head on Angela Blackson. He's huge, but offers zero pass rush and is average vs the run. However, he does eat space and takes on double teams. Whiz says Blackson allows DaQuan Jones to play NT now? I don't know if Blackson will even see any playing time next year.

I give us an A on the draft. Including the udfa we picked up this is the most excited I've been about a draft from top to bottom since I've been a fan of this organization. I agree with the round 3 and 4 picks being reaches, but outside of those we got really good value with every other pick. Even though they were "reaches" i still really like all of the picks, except blackston. But, theres a high chance that we will have 7 or more rookies that see a lot of pt this year.

This was a great draft for me as a Dad. My 19 year old son and I have spent at least 2 hours talking about it and actually are looking forward to TC and the season. We hadn't talked Titans more than 10 minutes in the past 3 years.

You guys are being complete pre-teens about this draft.

You see a tall fast receiver... splooge everywhere. Ignore that he's fundamentally retarded in both play and mentality.

You see a spread option QB that can't hit a moving target, sucked terribly throwing from pro sets and think he's going to be something special...

Then the other picks we took guys every round that would have been on the board 2+ rounds later.

WITHOUT addressing actual needs. We took a f'ng FULLBACK in round 4.... a fullback. That may have been ok in 1995. Not in 2015.

Anyone that can polish this turd of a draft is some sort of magician. It was terrible from top to bottom.

We just had a miserable 2-14 season. Let us have hope for a minute.

It's exhausting to just say "oh my god we suck" blah blah blah. Yea, we suck. That's a given. We're back on the radar and have a bigger fan base now after this draft.

I've already stated elsewhere that I don't expect much out of DGB as a rookie. He's a raw talent with a lot of upside. I'm not throwing the ridiculous HoF WR comparisons at him. But his talent is undeniable, and if he hadn't been an idiot off the field, he would've been a 1st round pick (probably top 10).

We traded back, still got him at #40, and got two extra players from the trade (Fowler and McBride).

You're really that upset with him at #40 after trading BACK? I had Strong rated higher than him just based on the fact that he's a safer pick, but DGB at #40 is well worth the risk.

Since many of you are going crazy over a couple of "high potential" picks and act like I'm being dramatic for seeing behind the curtain of scrambling QB's and WR's that make Tyrone Calico look like legends in the making... I'm going to explain why I'm grumpy. And why you should also be.

    Round 1...

    Marcus Mariota

Ok. I get it. He's "exciting". Much in the same fashion Jake Locker and Vince Young were exciting. But how many times do you guys have to watch this? This pick and the reaction to it shows me just how disconnected this fanbase is with the team itself. The LAST thing Titans fans should have wanted was for the team to draft yet another spread-option QB that struggles throwing the football. Yet... you're all giddy again. Spoiler alert: This one sucks too.

And no, his "work ethic" and being "a great kid" (sound familiar? Ahem... Jake Locker?)doesn't make up for his lack of accuracy throwing the football. Did you watch him vs FSU? Michigan State? Teams with real defenses? His stats were decent- but watch the games. All screen passes. Screen, screen, screen, screen. Then some bad throws... the guy doesn't throw beyond 10 yards vs good defenses. He also struggles mightily from a pro set.

The real issue with this pick is: It fires the coaching staff. Which then brings in another... so a new OC next year... which will only set us back even further. Terrible pick. Won't be ready for another 2- seasons to play in the NFL. But we'll force him in early and it'll shatter his confidence...

Maybe with another team (i.e. Eagles) but no chance here.

    F.

    Round 2...

    Dorial Green-Beckham

Look. I think he'll be fine... probably a decent #3 receiver, eventually. But there's a reason everyone passed on the guy. And again, Titans fans: Being big and fast does not make you a great receiver. At least Tyrone Calico knew how to catch at a high point. DGB doesn't. He constantly tries to catch with his chest, never goes up and gets a ball at it's highest point. So basically... his height? Doesn't matter. A small corner will out-jump him and actually extend their arms. He has no idea how to use his frame.

He also runs routes like he has no knees.

Beyond that- he has a slight issue of getting in trouble. Remember Kenny Britt? Well, not only was Kenny Britt TWICE the receiver that DGB is... Kenny Britt wasn't even as much of a mental midget as DGB is. So... even if DGB is a good receiver... will it ever matter? Unlikely.

    D.

    Round 3...

    Jeremiah Poutasi

Meh. A "need" pick. Probably a decent player, though we're seeming to try him where he's too slow... the issue is, there were so many better OL on the board. A reach, for certain. Probably could have been had 2 rounds later.

    C

    Round 4...

    Angelo Blackson

Blackson wins the award for the most boring selection of this draft. A reach yet again. Better players on the board. Could have traded back or gotten him later if they were sold on him.

    Who cares about grading this one... z z z Z Z Z z z...

    Jalston Fowler

A fullback. In the fourth round. A fullback... guys. It's 2015 and we took a fullback in round 4. Decent player- but what were we thinking? Not a need for one. Because it's 2015 and the NFL doesn't use fullbacks unless you can try whatever you want because your team is awesome.

But even worse... a fullback from Alabama. Where anyone in cleats looks about 5x's better than they really are due to the surrounding talent.

But I'm told he can catch and play HB or TE.... coooooool! I bet he'll be awesome on Madden.

Bigger needs. Better players available. Reached. Injury prone.

    D.

    Round 5...

    David Cobb

Bishop Sankey. But this time drafted where he should have been. Who really cares? Didn't need to draft yet another HB if Fowler can actually play the position like people claim.

    C-.

    Round 6...

    Deiontrez Mount

Holy sh**. A decent pick!! We're one for six!!! What a draft! I think Lebeau will have fun with this kid. He likes pursuing QB's and getting into the backfield. Feel he'll provide a spark here and there.

    Good value pick. Finally.

    B+.

    Andy Gallik

Hopefully good competition for Schwenke- but still neither should be the answer at C. This pick is fine. Nothing really to complain or be excited about. It's a center...

    C.

    Round 7...

    Trey McBride

My favorite pick of this draft. I love this dude. He fights for the ball, goes up to grab it. Great footwork, body control, route running, great hands. It's all there. I take this kid every time in a pick-up game over DGB. A true WR.

Plus his attitude is great. He has a chip on his shoulder, and he'll be all ears in practice.

    A.

I know that's too much to read, but hopefully you can at least see why I'm not happy with this draft.

In my opinion- when your best player from the draft (as it looks to me) was taken on day 3... you've failed.
